On Sunday, June 7th - the closing celebration and family-friendly gathering of Los Pleneros de la 21's Bomba and Plena Children’s Workshops will be followed by a plenazo in honor of José “Joseíto” Rivera at La Casita de Chema/Ricón Criollo from 12pm - 3pm (rain location: Bronx Music Hall). BPCW youth students and others in the wider community will have the opportunity to come together for a community-based celebration of plena, culture and community.
